An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a middle and high school caseload for the 2023-24 academic year. This full-time, contract position involves working five days per week within a school district near Benicia, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as applicable
- Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student communication goals
- Maintain documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active or pending state SLP license is required
- Experience in school settings and familiarity with IEP processes preferred but not mandatory
- Skills in healthcare-related SLP services, pediatrics, teletherapy, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) are advantageous
- Eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in healthcare settings may be considered
