Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Ventura, California

Key Qualifications:

• Active or pending state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in school environments and familiarity with IEPs preferred, but open to new graduates and candidates pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Proficiency with pediatric populations, including experience in healthcare, teletherapy, and evaluation/therapy for diverse student needs
• Comfort working with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in healthcare or educational contexts
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a middle and high school caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate actively with staff, families, and support personnel to facilitate effective communication strategies
• Complete necessary documentation and progress notes in a timely manner
• Engage in school-based meetings and professional development
