Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid state license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary students, preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt therapy to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to an elementary-aged caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create targeted intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student success
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide input for classroom strategies and modify approaches as needed to foster communication growth
  • Maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
