Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary students, preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt therapy to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to an elementary-aged caseload
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student success
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide input for classroom strategies and modify approaches as needed to foster communication growth
- Maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
