Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license or eligibility
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, particularly with high school-aged students
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a full-time caseload of high school students, providing both group and individual therapy
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the educational team
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
- Provide consultation, support, and resources to teachers and families to optimize student success in the classroom
