Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting, particularly with high school-aged students
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full-time caseload of high school students, providing both group and individual therapy
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the educational team
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
  • Provide consultation, support, and resources to teachers and families to optimize student success in the classroom
