Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and learning needs as a School Speech-Language Pathologist in the Veradale area. This role is ideal for both Clinical Fellows and experienced clinicians (CCC-SLP) who are passionate about helping children thrive in an academic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for students presenting with speech and language challenges
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based intervention plans to support student progress
  • Provide engaging therapy sessions targeting a full range of speech and language objectives
  • Diligently monitor and document each student’s progress towards their goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and specialists to ensure a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach
  • Involve and educate families to encourage carryover of skills beyond the classroom

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school
  • Active or eligible state licensure as determined by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred, though strong Clinical Fellow applicants (CFY) are welcomed
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school populations is preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Capability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively
