This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants passionate about making a positive impact among 9th–12th grade students. With both full and part-time positions available, you can tailor your schedule to best suit your needs, and new graduates (CFs) are encouraged to apply for this enriching experience.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of SLPA requirements
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • CCC-SLP, CFY, or SLPA credentials welcome
  • Experience in pediatrics, schools, and/or healthcare settings is a plus
  • Ability to manage a caseload of high school students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to high school students (grades 9–12)
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech/language impairments
  • Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support academic and social/emotional growth
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in line with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student support team discussions
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches and materials for adolescent learners
