Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of SLPA requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP, CFY, or SLPA credentials welcome
- Experience in pediatrics, schools, and/or healthcare settings is a plus
- Ability to manage a caseload of high school students with diverse speech and language needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to high school students (grades 9–12)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech/language impairments
- Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support academic and social/emotional growth
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in line with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and student support team discussions
- Adapt therapeutic approaches and materials for adolescent learners
