This full-year, on-site contract features placements across a supportive cluster of schools, ideal for professionals seeking a collaborative environment and diverse student caseloads. With assignments crafted to include both maternity leave coverage and ongoing support, you will play a vital role in student communication and social success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC preferred)
- Active Florida SLP license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles is valued
- Strong collaboration skills to work with SLP teams or independently
- Willingness to support students with ASD, EBD, InD, and a range of age groups (PreK-12)
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance—using prior Department of Health prints may be possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services for assigned caseloads, including K-12, autism spectrum, and behavioral units
- Complete evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver data-driven interventions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and families as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Adapt seamlessly to several school sites during the school year, as outlined in staffing plans
