Multiple positions are available, with part-time roles (14-21 hours/week) that may be combined for full-time schedules (35 hours/week). Begin contributing as soon as possible and continue making an impact through June 2027.
Roles are available across Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce, each offering a unique caseload—ranging from early childhood and resource therapy to K-8 general education. Some campuses feature collaborative teams, while others provide the opportunity to work independently and take ownership of your program. Age groups vary from PreK resource therapy through 8th grade, letting you focus on your strengths and preferences.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Recent experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Completion of district credentialing—fingerprints required (existing AHCA clearinghouse prints accepted)
- Available for on-site badge pickup prior to assignment
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, therapy, and support for diverse student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Develop and implement IEPs and appropriate therapy plans
- Document progress and communicate results clearly
- Work with age groups from PK to 8th grade, with varying caseloads
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to student success
