Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Background working with pediatric populations, ideally in K-12 school settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, families, and staff
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad range of speech and language disorders
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct onsite speech and language therapy for K-12 students
- Administer evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into daily learning
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insight into student development
