Pediatric School-Based SLP | Vestal, New York

This assignment involves providing specialized speech and language services to approximately 60 elementary students in a dynamic and welcoming school environment.

Ideal candidates bring experience in school-based speech-language pathology, as well as comfort with pediatric caseloads and a variety of service delivery models, including teletherapy. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible SLP state licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
• Prior experience in K-5 or pediatric settings
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and school documentation
• Proficiency with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy and consultation services for approximately 60 students
• Maintain accurate and timely student records and reports
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students' educational and communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions, ensuring student-centered care
