Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid New York state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure before the start date)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility regarding onsite or virtual service delivery as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
  • Develop and implement IEPs in line with school and district requirements
  • Conduct assessments and collaborate on eligibility determination
  • Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as needed
