Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Vestal, NY

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary-aged students in a vibrant academic environment. This full-time position runs from now through June 30th, with consistent hours from 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM. You’ll manage an elementary caseload of 15-25 students, all conveniently located at one site, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality services in a dedicated therapy space.

Bring your expertise and passion for helping children succeed—whether you're an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or have specialized experience in school-based pediatrics or teletherapy. New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year are encouraged to apply; strong mentorship and support will be provided.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current or eligible New York state SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome
• Experience with school-aged pediatric populations and IEPs
• Knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention methods
• Comfortable with in-person service delivery in a school setting; teletherapy experience is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide therapy for elementary students with diverse speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Engage in scheduled meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary teams as needed
