Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Conduct engaging therapy sessions focused on achieving targeted speech and language goals
  • Diligently track, monitor, and document student progress throughout the intervention process
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated, holistic care
  • Involve families in the therapeutic journey by providing resources and education
