Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current state licensure or eligibility (California)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Organizational skills for effective documentation and caseload management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student needs
  • Offer direct and consultative speech therapy services to students, individually and in groups
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
