Desired Skills & Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Holds or is eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, or teletherapy is highly valued
- Strong rapport-building and communication abilities with children, families, and staff
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable in a dynamic school environment
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs, conducting assessments, and maintaining thorough records
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in primary school-aged students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and group therapy sessions, tailored to meet each child’s needs
- Monitor student progress, adapting approaches to maximize outcomes
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to support the success of each student
