Make a real difference in the lives of young learners as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity spans from August 17th through May 28th, offering the chance to work closely with an Early Childhood Center caseload. Your ability to provide services in both English and Spanish is essential as you support students’ communication development at a critical stage.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with early childhood populations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Prior school-based SLP experience highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide therapy for students, focusing on those in early childhood programs
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver services in both English and Spanish to support diverse learners
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress, and therapies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as an advocate for effective communication strategies and language development
