Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students for the upcoming school year as a dedicated speech-language pathologist. After the departure of a long-standing SLP, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring continued, high-quality services across four conveniently located schools, all within an easy eight-mile drive of one another. This three-day-per-week role (Tuesday through Thursday) offers a consistent schedule totaling 30 hours per week—ideal for clinicians seeking both impact and work-life balance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold a current SLP and CCC certification.
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate within educational teams.
  • Excellent communication abilities with students, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff across multiple elementary and secondary sites.
  • Maintain diligent records and progress reports for each student.
  • Provide supportive resources and strategies to staff and parents to help students succeed.
  • Travel between schools is limited to short, manageable distances.
