Make a difference in students’ lives by providing speech-language services in a vibrant school setting. This contract opportunity offers two engaging roles: a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school, and coverage for a maternity leave from December through April at a high school—both located in the Villa Rica, GA area.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially with elementary and high school populations, is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to support students’ communication skills and academic success
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as appropriate
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to identify goals and support strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in the overall educational process for each student
  • Adapt to both elementary and high school environments, providing high-quality coverage and support
