Preferred skills for this role include experience or certification as an SLP (CCC or CFY) in school-based settings, with a genuine commitment to supporting communication, language, and learning for adolescents. You will join a dedicated team focused on delivering direct and indirect speech services to middle school students, while benefitting from defined responsibilities and the elimination of extra duties such as bus duty or parent pickup.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current or eligible SLP licensure in Louisiana
  • CCC or CFY credentials preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student IEPs
  • Deliver both direct and indirect SLP services to designated caseload
  • Maintain timely documentation as required by school standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress planning
