School Speech Language Pathologist - Vinton, Virginia

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide school-based services onsite near Vinton, VA. This flexible position, available as either full-time or part-time based on your preference, runs for the entire 2026–2027 school year. You'll work directly with an engaged and supportive educational team, making a real difference in students' communication and overall school success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students PreK–12
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans and IEP goals
• Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school requirements
• Participate actively in IEP and support meetings to advocate for student needs

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required for SLPs)
• Current Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
• For SLPAs, appropriate Virginia licensure or eligibility
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
