Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in K-12 schools is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and the special education evaluation process
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and identify communication disorders through standardized testing and observation
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services within individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and related services
- Partner with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student outcomes
- Contribute to IEP meetings, case conferences, and school-wide initiatives as a valued team member
