Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license or ability to obtain (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA)
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students in a school-based setting
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and deliver therapy individually and in group settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling effectively
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse K-12 student population
- Develop goal-oriented treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies for classroom success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere tailored to each student’s needs
