School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Visalia, California

Multiple skill sets are valued, and experienced therapists as well as those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active California SLP license or ability to obtain (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA)
• Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students in a school-based setting
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and deliver therapy individually and in group settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling effectively

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse K-12 student population
• Develop goal-oriented treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies for classroom success
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere tailored to each student’s needs
