Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school setting highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Provide targeted therapy sessions, both individual and group
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student success in the classroom
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process to foster carryover and growth
