School Speech Language Pathologist - Vista, California

Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year and beyond. Compensation for this position ranges from $50 to $65 an hour, based on your skills and experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement student-focused plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and services delivered
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the school’s multidisciplinary team
• Engage families in the therapeutic process and offer education and resources as needed
