This role offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, 7:45am to 3:15pm, ideal for educators seeking consistent hours during the school year. Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification required for school-based SLPs
- Previous experience in elementary or early childhood education preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective IEP goals
- Proficient in documentation and communication in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
- Screen, assess, and identify students’ speech/language needs
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide progress updates to educators and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with classroom staff
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
