Licensed Certified Speech and Language Pathologist - Vista, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position serves preschool through 3rd grade students, with an assigned caseload of approximately 50 children. This role offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, 7:45am to 3:15pm, ideal for educators seeking consistent hours during the school year. Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certification required for school-based SLPs
• Previous experience in elementary or early childhood education preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective IEP goals
• Proficient in documentation and communication in an educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
• Screen, assess, and identify students’ speech/language needs
• Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide progress updates to educators and families
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with classroom staff
• Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
