Elementary Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Vista, CA

Step into a dynamic role supporting preschool through 3rd grade students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work hands-on with a lively caseload of approximately 50 students, providing individualized and small group services in a welcoming educational environment.

The assignment spans from ASAP through June 5, 2026. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 3:15pm, giving you a predictable schedule and time to build meaningful connections with young learners and staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold current SLP certification and appropriate state licensure
• Experience in elementary or early childhood school settings strongly preferred
• Skilled at evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech/language disorders in children
• Able to develop and implement IEPs and maintain accurate records
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and other school professionals
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to preschool through 3rd grade students
• Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Communicate regularly with teachers and families regarding student needs and progress
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
