Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Von Ormy, TX

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license issued by the state of Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in a high school or pediatric setting is preferred
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to a full-time high school caseload
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Assess and document student progress, adapting strategies to meet diverse needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in school teams and contribute to campus-wide communication initiatives

This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through early June 2027, providing stability and the opportunity to form lasting relationships within the school community.
