What We’re Looking For:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current, valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment or with pediatric populations highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Flexibility to embrace a contract position in an ever-evolving school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and deliver effective therapy sessions both in individual and group settings
- Create individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress notes in accordance with school policies
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations
- Support classroom modifications and teacher strategies to facilitate student progress
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
