What We’re Looking For:

  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current, valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Previous experience working in a K-12 school environment or with pediatric populations highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Flexibility to embrace a contract position in an ever-evolving school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and deliver effective therapy sessions both in individual and group settings
  • Create individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress notes in accordance with school policies
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations
  • Support classroom modifications and teacher strategies to facilitate student progress
  • Promote a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
