This contract position runs from September 8th to June 18th, offering the flexibility of working two days per week.

Applicants should have experience in pediatric settings, particularly within schools, and hold the SLP-CCC credential. Working familiarity with AAC devices and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder is essential for success in this role. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team, providing direct support, conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized plans, and maintaining clear communication with both educators and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP-CCC and licensure suited to educational settings
  • Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, specifically within schools
  • Previous experience working with students using AAC devices
  • Strong understanding of best practices for supporting students with ASD
  • Effective communication and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently two days per week, utilizing initiative and adaptability

In this position, you will:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment strategies, and deliver individualized speech-language therapy
  • Support preschool through 8th-grade students, with a focus on PreK
  • Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and families
  • Document progress and contribute to IEP planning and meetings
  • Assist team members in increasing classroom communication accessibility, especially through AAC technologies
