Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Walled Lake, Michigan

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Hold or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or current CFY status
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience in pediatrics, school-based settings, or elementary-aged children is highly valued
• Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented approach and effective communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Carry a manageable caseload of approximately 45-55 elementary students, supporting their speech and language development
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy sessions during school day hours (8:50 a.m. - 4:10 p.m.)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment
