School Speech Language Pathologist - Walled Lake, MI

This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with students in grades K-5, providing essential speech-language services to help them thrive both academically and socially. You will manage a caseload of 45-55 students, collaborating with faculty and families to ensure each child receives the individualized support they need.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or applicants completing Clinical Fellowship (CFY) welcome
• Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders for students in grades K-5
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services during elementary school hours (8:50 a.m. - 4:10 p.m.)
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state standards
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational goals
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development as required
