Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for speech-language pathology
  • Experience providing speech and language services in school settings preferred
  • Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of communication disorders
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Dedicated to promoting a positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide therapy according to students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design interventions
  • Document sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans in compliance with district and state standards
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to support students’ communication goals
  • Encourage family and caregiver involvement in the therapeutic process
  • Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
