Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for speech-language pathology
- Experience providing speech and language services in school settings preferred
- Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of communication disorders
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dedicated to promoting a positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide therapy according to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design interventions
- Document sessions, progress reports, and treatment plans in compliance with district and state standards
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to support students’ communication goals
- Encourage family and caregiver involvement in the therapeutic process
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
