Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome
- Prior experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and school documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and fluency among elementary and secondary students
- Develop and implement targeted therapy sessions based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work in partnership with educators, families, and multidisciplinary specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications
- Offer guidance and education to staff and parents regarding communication strategies
