Qualifications:

  • Control a valid SLP license for the state of Texas (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students according to IEPs.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and create treatment plans for various speech/language disorders.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, families, and educators.
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation.
  • Promote positive learning environments and advocate for student needs.
