Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Walnut Creek, CA

This is a full-time contract position open to both SLP-CFs and SLP-CCCs; strong new graduates are also encouraged to apply!

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Passion for working with children and adolescents in a school setting
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive classroom environments
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions for students across grade levels, K-12
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities
