This full-time, contract opportunity is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are ready to support PreK and elementary students in their communication growth. Join a collaborative team of four dedicated SLPs and use your expertise to influence student success. Experience working with Applied Behavioral Intervention (Abi VBD) will be highly valued.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an SLP and CCC certification required
- Experience working with PreK and elementary-aged children
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Understanding or experience with Abi VBD interventions is a plus
- Confident in evaluation, planning, and implementing therapy for diverse caseloads
- Positive, flexible attitude and strong collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to PreK and elementary students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individual education plans (IEPs)
- Tailor interventions using best practices and, when appropriate, Abi VBD strategies
- Consult with educators and families for effective student support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and intervention outcomes
- Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights to enhance program quality
