In this role, you’ll collaborate with students, educators, and families to promote communication skills that are essential to academic and lifelong success. Your expertise as an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) will be highly valued as you assess, diagnose, and implement individualized plans, guiding students towards their goals.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active SLP-CCC certification
- State licensure as required
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students with a variety of communication needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, other specialists, and parents to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
