A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) is needed to serve in a dynamic educational environment from April through the end of the school year. Workdays run Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, providing a steady, consistent schedule.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators and staff, engaging with a range of age groups—from young children in preschool to students in a post-secondary program. Your expertise will make a real difference by participating in IEP processes and contributing to evaluations, while also supporting specialized groups such as preschool social communication.
Ideal candidates bring previous school-based SLP experience, excellent communication skills, and genuine enthusiasm for helping students reach their fullest potential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and ASHA CCC credential
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with the Wayne RES MiStar system for managing electronic IEPs is a plus
- Strong ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to inclusive education and supporting varied student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct IEP meetings and contribute to evaluations for students in both preschool and post-secondary settings
- Participate actively with preschool social communication groups
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy tailored to individual education plans
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation using the MiStar system
- Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and administrators
