Support students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic elementary school setting, working with grades K-5. This contract position focuses on delivering essential speech and language services to a caseload of 45-55 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP license; eligible for work in elementary education settings
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric speech-language disorders in school environments is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative attitude and effective communication with teachers, parents, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students, identifying needs and tracking progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting students’ IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings
  • Maintain timely, detailed records and documentation in compliance with school requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing observations and recommendations as part of the student support team
  • Engage with families and staff to deliver information, strategies, and resources for student success

This position offers consistent school-day hours from 8:50 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., aligning well with work-life balance and allowing you to focus your energy on nurturing student growth within the school community.
