Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by providing speech-language therapy in a supportive school environment for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to support an elementary caseload of approximately 25 students within an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) setting. The role is fully onsite, allowing you to collaborate closely with educators and families while delivering essential services that contribute directly to student achievement and communication growth.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with children on the autism spectrum, is strongly preferred
  • Solid background in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for school-aged children
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to an elementary caseload focused on students with ASD
  • Complete evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and regularly monitor student progress
  • Work hand-in-hand with special education staff, teachers, and parents to create and update therapy strategies
  • Provide consultation and resources to classroom staff to generalize communication skills throughout the school day
  • Maintain diligent and timely documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
