Ideal candidates hold a current Michigan SLP license and possess a passion for working with children and adolescents. Prior experience with middle school populations is a plus but is not required—Clinical Fellows (CFs) are strongly encouraged to apply and can expect robust mentorship and support.

Qualifications:

  • Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required)
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience with middle school students preferred, not required
  • School-based experience a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation
  • Support students’ participation and success within their school environment
