What You’ll Need:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification as CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF) welcomed
- Previous middle school experience beneficial, though not required
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Your Role:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for speech-language impairments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate communication goals
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date student records and progress reports
- Engage with families and caregivers to support student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute knowledgeably to team decisions
