Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication needs in a dynamic school environment. A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract opportunity, servicing students from PreK through 12th grade in a supportive and collaborative setting. This is a full-time, onsite position, offering flexibility in scheduling within the school day and the chance to work independently across elementary and middle school settings. Two positions are available for the 2026–2027 school year, with the potential to extend into the 2025–2026 ESY session.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid, current Michigan SLP license (please include screenshot confirmation with your application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working within school-based settings
- Ability to independently manage diverse caseloads from PreK–12th grade
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across assigned grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and write detailed evaluation reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for student success
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for all services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
