Step into a meaningful contract opportunity working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive educational environment near Warren, MI. This position is available for an immediate start, with the potential to extend into the fall term. The role offers flexibility — opt for 4-5 days per week or discuss part-time scheduling based on your availability, averaging approximately 30 hours per week. With a manageable caseload of about 52 children, you’ll make a positive difference in the lives of young learners.

Qualifications and Preferred Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Holds or is eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing/has completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Licensed or ability to obtain licensure for SLP practice in Michigan
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Passion for supporting students with a variety of communication challenges
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student on your caseload
  • Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, resource staff, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster a positive and engaged learning environment for your students
