Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Confidence working with elementary-aged children across varied communication needs
  • Comfortable serving students in both general education and self-contained classroom environments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to elementary students
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs, including those in self-contained classrooms
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused learning environment
