Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology services to K-12 students for the upcoming school year. Beginning August 2026 through June 25, 2027, you’ll play a vital part in helping students achieve their communication goals in a supportive educational setting. The position is located on-site and requires direct interaction with students and staff, ensuring the most effective delivery of services—virtual work is not available for this opportunity.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based SLP experience is highly desired
- Comfortable working with K-12 caseloads, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Must commit to on-campus presence—teletherapy is not an option
In this role, you will:
- Provide assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for students with diverse speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) while tracking progress and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, working closely with educators, families, and administrators
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Offer guidance to teachers and parents on communication strategies within the classroom and home environments
