Speech Language Pathologist in Warren, MI

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based SLP practice
• Experience with pediatric caseloads, preferably in elementary settings
• Background in teletherapy or willingness to provide virtual services as needed
• Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized therapy plans for K-5 students
• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services in both in-person and remote formats
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
• Participate in IEP meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with all state and federal guidelines
• Support students with varied speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, language, and voice
• Provide mentorship and guidance for SLP students or Clinical Fellows if applicable
