Empower students as a Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026-2027 academic year, supporting local schools with a focused, manageable caseload. This full-time contract opportunity for passionate SLPs is based onsite and runs from August 17, 2026, through June 23, 2027. You’ll make an impact by delivering high-quality speech and language services in an educational setting renowned for its collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, evaluation procedures, and progress monitoring
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled communicator—verbal and written—with students, families, and staff
- Detail-oriented with strong assessment and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations as required
- Develop, execute, and monitor individualized speech and language goals as part of IEPs
- Provide targeted, evidence-based therapy to a caseload well below the state maximum
- Participate in school-based meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and necessary documentation
- Foster an enriching and inclusive learning environment for all students
