Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant educational setting for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference working with an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) student population, with a caseload of 40–55 students per SLP. There are three positions available, allowing you to collaborate with a small team of dedicated professionals. All services are provided onsite, offering a dynamic and interactive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students on the autism spectrum according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment goals, and implement evidence-based therapy interventions.
- Document student progress, maintain up-to-date records, and collaborate with educators, families, and other support personnel.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in language and communication development.
- Support students’ communication needs with specialized strategies, visual supports, and assistive technology as appropriate.
- Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere tailored to students’ unique learning profiles.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing, with Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred, especially in ASD settings.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
