This full-time contract position runs from August 13, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with consistent hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or ready to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience supporting students in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of assessments, IEPs, and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student development and advocating for student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language needs of elementary school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input for team-based planning
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
- Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, adapting techniques as needed
