Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Warren, MI

Exciting opportunities are open for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to make a meaningful difference in a school setting near Warren, MI. Several SLP positions are available to meet varying needs, including:

• An elementary caseload working across three buildings, serving about 50 students.
• An elementary caseload within a single building, working directly with 47 students.
• A position supporting a Functional Classroom for Intensive Support (FCIS), fostering communication skills and adaptive strategies for students requiring more comprehensive assistance.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services according to students’ IEP goals.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs.
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
• Support students in developing effective communication and social skills.
