School Speech Language Pathologist - Warren, MI

An immediate opening is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite services for an elementary caseload of 30-40 students. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with dedicated educators and families in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
• Prior experience delivering speech therapy services in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Commitment to providing culturally responsive and individualized support
• Ability to work onsite as part of an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for eligible students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
• Maintain accurate, timely records for student progress and compliance with state/federal regulations
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ success
• Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings, adapting approaches to meet diverse student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on goals, and help educate staff about speech and language strategies

This contract position runs from ASAP through June 18, 2027, and offers consistent weekly hours (32.5 per week) in a supportive elementary school setting with a manageable caseload.
