Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
  • CCC-SLP preferred, but candidates in their CFY year are welcome
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working in school settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress toward goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based support teams
  • Educate and support staff and families about communication disorders
