Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
  • Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) through collaboration with educators, families, and related professionals
  • Deliver therapy sessions both individually and in classroom settings
  • Maintain compliance with documentation, progress reporting, and state and federal regulations
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure cohesive student support

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Virginia state SLP license or eligibility to secure one
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience in school settings and working with elementary-age children is highly desirable
