In this position, you will:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
  • Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Deliver both direct therapy and in-classroom support as needed
  • Document all progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to best support each student

We are looking for candidates who bring:

  • A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • A valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility for license)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Some prior experience working with children at the elementary level is highly valued
